Good morning Sunday! I just couldn’t decide what to make for breakfast – I get so bored of eating the same thing every morning…the typical eggs and toast! So I decided to make quiche to have for during the week for breakfast to change it up. You can even have it for lunch with a salad! This is one of my favourite recipes that was passed down to me by my mother. What I love about it is that I can add protein to it which keeps me fuller and helps me to get through the morning! It is simple to make this quiche – just follow along with these steps…
Here is what you need:
½ cup Green Onions
½ cup Green Peppers
½ cup Red Peppers
1 cup Chopped Ham (Fine)
1 cup of Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
1 cup of Milk
1 ½ tsp Dry Mustard
¾ cup of Bisquick Baking Mix
3 Eggs
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Use cooking spray to lightly spray the pie plate. Sprinkle green onions, ham, green/red peppers and cheese on the pie plate.
Beat remaining ingredients with a hand mixer until smooth then pour into pie plate.
Bake until golden brown from 30 to 35 minutes and let it stand from 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
Hope you will enjoy this recipe and it is definitely worth a try!
