Hey everyone – hope you’re having a great week! I’m excited to share this look with you as I’ve been wanting to show it for awhile. It’s such a great look for a night out – as it blends sexy and classy together! This gorgeous orange top is actually a bodysuit l purchased last year at Marciano. I must say – bodysuits are one amazing style trend that I’m glad made a comeback. They’ve come a long way from the 90s and have evolved into a must have wardrobe piece in your closet today. This bodysuit would look great with a nice black leather skirt paired with heels but I chose to wear it with skinny pants. I actually picked up these pants at Urban Planet because they reminded me of a style of pant they carry at Marciano. I found the ones at Marciano didn’t fit me quite right, not to mention they are pretty pricey! I was happy to find a cheaper pair that looked similar – notice the faux leather trim on the waistline – it’s a little detail that makes them look more expensive than they really are. Together this whole outfit looks like it came from Marciano but at a fraction of the price. It’s a great example of mixing brands to transform a $30 pair of pants into an outfit that looks more expensive than it really is. Oh, and last but not least – this gorgeous black clutch finishes off the look! I instantly fell in love with this clutch when I first laid eyes on it… 7 years ago. It’s always reminded me of something they’d sell at BCBG, but its just a no name bag that I bought at a purse party. I hope this post has inspired you to think twice about purchasing that expensive pair of pants you’ve had your eyes on!
